Altron Vacancy – Bid Office Administrator

Job Responsibilities:

  • Request of documentation from clients advertising opportunities the company wishes to pursue
  • Purchasing of Bid and Proposal team equipment and supplies
  • Liaising with existing clients that have been asked to provide bid references
  • Arranging finalized documentation to be signed off at Director level
  • Following the process through to completion, obtaining and documenting feedback from clients
  • Support management in the monitoring, reporting & evaluation of tender results and tender process
  • Provide general administrative support to the Bid Manager, Engineers and Presales
  • Management of the timely collection of data from various parties including sub-contractors, consultants and internal staff
  • Ensuring bid documentation return in line with submission deadlines
  • Production of customer facing proposal documents, presentations and user guides

Job Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Communicating and Informing

Qualification & Experience:

  • Good interpersonal skills, influence and impact, working with others
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
  • 2 – 4 years previous bid / tender experience essential
  • Minimum of Matric
