Job Description:

This position leads a small team of specialists in the Client Engagement department in Capitec, to analyse, understand and influence over 18 million Capitec clients through effective omnichannel communication. It reports to the Client Engagement manager and contributes to the overall Client Engagement and Marketing Strategy.
Growth opportunities include exposure and direct engagement with the rest of the marketing, data and digital functions and key operations teams in the company as well as relevant training and development in the role. Lateral moves and internal promotions within the department and company are encouraged which can create exciting prospects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performance marketing and direct marketing
  • Creating and developing content and content strategies
  • Operating in a campaign coordination role
  • Digital marketing, CRM, customer loyalty and communications
  • Agency / stakeholder management experience
  • Interpret data and reports for analysis
  • Drafting business cases, marketing plans

Qualification & Experience:

  • Previous Leadership experience
  • Previous project management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Management
  • Honours Degree in Marketing or Business Management
  • Digital Campaign management agency experience
  • Specific experience in Agency Management would be advantageous
  • 5+ years’ proven experience in marketing, client engagement, project delivery & implementation.
  • Experience in managing / leading a team of specialists within an Agile environment.
