Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure and support with the compilation of the workplace skills plan and annual report by all 11 municipalities as well as the skills audit process;
  • Update monthly reports timeously; Provide quarterly reports timeously;
  • Participate in mitigating of any risks with regard to the identified training interventions;
  • Support in the development of project charter, project initiation documents, risk register, project implementation plan;
  • Represent Gauteng COGTA at DCOG (national COGTA) meetings, and report on capacity building initiatives in the province;
  • Support in drafting legal services documents; Serve as project coordinator for all projects;
  • Support the development of TORs; Compile submissions;
  • Represent both COGTA and municipalities at LG SETA engagements;
  • Provide guidance and support on implementation of skills audit process;
  • Manage records of all POEs, reports and other relevant documents manually and electronically;
  • Monitor the implementation of the trainings conducted by service providers;
  • Ensure the preparation of documentation for service providers;
  • Maintain relationships between key stakeholders and municipalities;
  • Coordinate the communication to all municipalities/speaker’s office with regards to the implementation of the training;

Job Requirements:

  • Development facilitator and education training and development Practitioner Certificates will be an added advantage.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Matric plus NQF level 6/ National Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Human Resource Development or relevant qualification coupled with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resource Management/ Capacity Building environment.
