Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective internal control systems
  • Ensure tip implementation of audit recommendations
  • Maintain and effective efficient cash flow management system
  • Prevent and report unauthorised, irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure
  • Compile and analyse monthly revenue reports
  • Administer financial transactions and documents
  • Monitor monthly collection of revenue against the target
  • Compile and monitor the hospital budget
  • Prepare monthly expenditure variance report
  • Management of performance and development of all staff in the unit.
  • Ensure effective and efficient management of creditors
  • Monitor financial performance in relation to the departmental priorities and conditional grants
  • Effective and efficient revenue management in the hospital

Job Requirements:

  • Five (5) years’ relevant experience in financial environment of which 3 years’ should be at supervisory level
  • Auditing and internal control background
  • Computer literacy.
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Commerce/Financial Management/Accounting/Cost and Management Accounting
  • Time Management
  • Negotiation and analysing skills
  • A valid driver’s license
  • General Management, (Treasury Regulations) Procedure (PAS System) Risk Management
  • Knowledge of WALKER, BAS, PAAB and PERSAL
