Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee office equipment and organise maintenance and repairs as required
  • Arrange and co-ordinate meetings and Vacancies in the Department: HRMC 63 of 2022 workshops
  • Process forms and documents related to claims, payments, invoices and consultant fees relevant to the office
  • Coordinating of records system ensuring confidentiality of documents
  • Conduct records and document management both manually and electronically
  • Keep track of all incoming work and ensure that all deadlines are met
  • Booking and confirming appointments, message taking,photocopying
  • Administer and petty cash management, mailing
  • Provide logistic support functions (make accommodation, flight and ground transport arrangements)
  • Administer leave arrangements
  • Provide support in completing and processing of subsistence claims
  • Provide logistical services in the functional office
  • Liaise with all stakeholders relevant to the office
  • Type correspondence as and when required

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the Public Service Regulation
  • Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and National Treasury Regulations
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes
  • Knowledge and Understanding of Departmental Legislations and Prescripts
  • Analytical thinking, planning and organizing
  • Problem solving, financial administration and customer focus
  • Extensive knowledge of various filing systems
  • Knowledge of Office Administration methodologies
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • An undergraduate qualification in Public Management / Administration or related at NQF 6 as recognised by SAQA
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an administration is required
