Job Description:

To administer and control all contracts and project finances for capital projects undertaken by the Department in respect of delivery of houses, hostels and associated infrastructure including roads, sanitaion, water and stormwater drainage for both Municipal and Provincial Funds.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the compilation of progress reports.
  • Flags potential problems for the attention of relevant managers.
  • Performs functions relating to specifications and tenders.
  • Performs contracts administration functions.
  • Maintains an effective project financial management system.
  • Assists engineering staff with the closedown of projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant 3 year tertiary qualification, i.e. Diploma or Degree.
  • 3 Years relevant experience.
  • Matric/Grade 12 plus relevant certificate accredited by SAQA.
  • Valid motor vehicle driving license (Code B).
  • 2 Years relevant experience.
  • Computer Literacy.
