Job Description:

The Business Support Coordinator will be required to provide support to the Executive Manager: OPO through the implementation of the following Key Performance Areas (KPAs):

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform non – routine research, information gathering and analysis, idea generation and compilation of business cases to support initiatives driven by the Executive Manager: OPO
  • Support with the development and implementation of OPO change initiatives and campaigns to
  • Create, monitor and track a register of actions from various Scheme structures and support with drafting ideas, recommendations and written arguments that facilitate effective decision making and closure of these actions
  • Effective coordination of special projects led by the Executive Manager: OPO (plan, monitoring, reporting etc.) and ensure compliance to GEMS Project Management Methodology
  • Preparation of submissions, project minutes, reports and presentations including verifying the accuracy of all data and information used to avoid any inconstancies and discrepancies

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Diploma//Professional qualification at NQF 6 in Strategy Management/ Business Administration/ Project Management or similar/equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in providing research and project support with excellent administrative, planning and organizing skills
