Job Description:

To ensure that the Region’s HR Information Systems fulfill their functional role, enabling employees to perform their work effectively.  The incumbent will be accountabile for the proper functioning of the HR Information Systems, while ensuring both the users’ satisfaction and their optimum use of these systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
  • Assist in managing the relationship with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients, helping to keep stakeholders informed of progress and issues to manage expectations on project requirements and deliverables
  • Understand the problems experienced by users and define them from a functional point of view
  • Ensure regular monitoring and maintenance of the various systems to ensure that they operate safely and reliably
  • Monitor the evolution of problems and ensuring that they are resolved as quickly as possible
  • Develop, validate and maintain all documents and procedures for training, self-training and user learning
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand-up, Iteration Planning and System Demos
  • Coordination of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation of the system
  • Lead project teams consisting of multi-functional, regional, and virtual groups, ensuring the appropriate expectations, principles, structures, tools, and responsibilities are in place to deliver the plan and deliver excellence
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to business application users
  • Meet with team members to identify and resolve issues
  • Ensure that applications are properly secured, and that database information is backed up
  • Participate in steering, leadership, and governance advisory meetings as a strategic and tactical advisor
  • Provide guidance and management support to the Regional HR Lead and site-based teams

Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience in using and/or configuring business applications
  • Proactive, ability to take initiative
  • Experience successfully leading HR System implementations to positive outcomes
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and written skills
  • Experience of SAP SuccessFactors would be advantageous
  • 10 years’ relevant HRIS experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Project Management Processes
  • Delivery and service orientated
  • Successful leadership in guiding key stakeholders on their transition to the new system journey
  • Attention to detail
  • Handle multiple tasks at once and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a community of stakeholders
  • Experience in auditing and improving business processes
  • Experience in user support (Documentation, Training, etc.)
