Job Responsibilities:

Legal drafting and interpretation. Draft, review and amend contracts and any other legal documents. Provide legal advice and opinions. Comment on legislation, policies and any other legal documents. Administer the process of appeals. Management of litigation. Coordinate and monitor the implementation of Access to Information Act and PAJA.

Job Requirements:

LLB Degree or 4 years recognized legal qualification. At least 8 years appropriate post qualification legal experience. Knowledge and experience in research; Good communication skills (written and verbal); Ability to work under pressure and solve problems; Good office administration, planning and organizing; Computer literacy. Knowledge of Administrative and Constitutional Law, Legislation and Regulations relevant to the Public Service, Legal drafting and interpretation. Knowledge of court procedures; Experience in the management of litigation. A valid Driver’s License is essential.
