Prepare first draft Engagement Letter within two working days of project allocation. Prepare FDR Plan within three working days in line with the Engagement Letter and scope of work. Obtain system description, relevant policy framework for the assigned project (Processes Maps,). Obtain/Extract data from relevant system (BAS/PERSAL/SAP/ACL/WINDEED). Conduct preliminary Fraud detection reviews within 5 working days of project allocation. Obtain relevant documents covering the agreed scope and objectives as outlined on Fraud Detection Review engagement letter and project plan. Conduct fraud detection reviews on all assigned projects. Prepare interview questions for approval by the Supervisor. Interview suspects, witness, relevant officials and obtain statement during interviews. Work effectively within time frame to ensure that projects concluded in line with agreed terms of engagement with the client. Prepare progress report on all assigned projects. Compile the draft Fraud Detection Review reports with detailed and factual findings in line with the project objectives and approach and within timeframe as per approved project plan. Attend to all review notes. Develop action list for all recommendations made on the FDR reports. Prepare weekly plans on all assigned projects. Ensure that the projects allocated are updated on ICM systems. Update FDR diary on a daily basis. Maintain project file and update working paper pack.
Matric and NQF level 6/7 in Internal Auditing/ Risk Management/ forensic Investigation/ Accounting /Cost and Management Accounting. • 1-2 years’ experience in Fraud Prevention/ Fraud Risk Management /Digital Forensic Investigation/IT Audit/ Forensic Investigation. Knowledgeable of Public Service Act and regulations and Protected Disclosure Act, PRECCA etc). Understanding of legal framework relating to Fraud Prevention (Enterprise Risk Management framework, financial systems and practices and Public Financial Management Act and Treasury Regulations. Good Communication, Analytical, Report writing, Computer and Interviewing skills. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
