Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective and efficient management of queues in the office
  • Report all risks according to required format
  • Coach and guide staff on compliance to all relevant regulatory, internal and external compliance requirements
  • Monitor service delivery and assist staff where service levels are not being met
  • Asses the working environment and report all Occupational Health and Safety issues to management
  • Serve as a project leader within the local office for civic services to ensure effective project management implementation
  • Render services in Mobile Units where and when required
  • Supervise the performance of the staff members
  • Facilitate and direct staff in all Human Resources administration requirements within the local office
  • Manage records / documentation according to DHA document management prescripts
  • Ensure adherence to Batho Pele principles in order to improve service delivery within the office
  • Conduct quality assurance to ensure quality of service delivery
    Provide expert advice and guidance to local office on civic services operational issues and matters

  • Record and time management
  • Understanding of Departmental Legislation and Public Management Framework
  • Sound knowledge of the Batho Pele Principles
  • A valid driver’s license is required

Qualification & Experience:

  • An undergraduate qualification in Public Management / Administration, Social Science or related field at NQF Level 6 recognized by SAQA
  • 1 years’ experience in an administrative role
