Job Description:

To manage the administration and relationship between service providers and Mediclinic on all benefits and funds to ensure streamlining of processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and optimise benefits and funds at Mediclinic
  • Provide management and administration with regard to benefits and funds
  • Train relevant parties on benefits and manage projects
  • Manage key account and stakeholder relations
  • Lead and manage the people in the HR Benefits team
  • Communicate Benefits to Mediclinic
  • Support Employee Wellness initiatives at hospital and corporate level

Job Requirements:

  • Understanding of the rules of Medical Aid schemes and retirement funds
  • Understanding the benefit of all the funds and fringe benefits offered
  • Financial Skills (payments, reconciliations, validations)
  • Understanding the HR policies at Mediclinic
  • Microsoft Excel

Qualification & Experience:

  • Essential: Mininum 5 years HR or employee benefits experience; 3 years supervisory experience
  • Experience with administration of medical aid and retirement funds; 3 years supervisory experience
  • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
