Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement HR programmes and / or projects
  • Support in-house Graduate Recruitment Programme in the recruitment and selection process
  • Develop and implement HR programmes and solutions aligned to current business needs
  • Development and implementation of training material
  • Performance of top talent, aligned with business strategy
  • Development and succession plans
  • Partnering with Line Managers to drive a culture of high performance
  • Generalist support to both Line Managers and staff
  • Coaching & Mentoring graduates on our World Class Merchant Trainee Programme
  • Assist in the enhancements of the Merchant Trainee Programme
  • Project plan and implement HR development solutions.
  • Find innovative means of driving development in a high paced fashion retail environment.
  • Facilitating on workshops
  • Supporting and developing Merchant Trainers in the business

Job Requirements:

  • Learning and Development, Organisational Development, Performance Management and Recruitment essential
  • Experience in presentation / facilitation
  • Experience and competencies with training material development , and organisational development
  • Experience in Remuneration, Reward and Benefits would be an advantage
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Highly organised & computer literate
  • Relevant tertiary qualification essential
  • Preferably 10+ years’ HR Generalist experience in a large corporate environment
  • Flexible to ongoing changing business needs
  • Mentoring and coaching skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Experienced team manager
  • HR Generalist experience essential
  • Able to execute the implementation of a range of HR Projects
  • Highly energetic and enjoys a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Passion and keen interest in development, including coaching, mentorship & material development
  • Creative and innovative: with a practical orientation and an ability to get things done
