Job Responsibilities:

  •  Render advisory services to management and staff on labour relations matters
  •  Participate in the development of staff relation strategies and policies
  •  Identify training gaps and ensure implementation of in-service training programmes
  •  Investigate and presides over enquiries
  •  Provide labour relations statistics to management, district and head office
  •  Represent the employer at conciliation and arbitration
  •  Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of labour relations policies

Job Requirements:

  • Verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge of the Public Service Act, 1994, Public Service Regulations 1999, Basic Conditions of Employment Act 1997, Skills
  • Development Act 1998, Labour Relations Act
  • Computer literacy (Ms word, Ms excel, Ms powerpoint, Ms microsoft)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Grade 12 / Senior certificate
  •  (3-5) years’ experience in Labour Relations
  •  National Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management.
  •  NB: Certificate of service from previous employers is compulsory, please include verification of employment from current employer, which must be endorsed and signed by Human Resource Management
