Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships to meet business objectives.
  • Foster and maintain supplier relations.
  • Act as an interface between suppliers and business stakeholders to provide expert advice on commodity management.
  • Develop and manage customer relationships to meet business objectives.
  • Prepare and manage the budget and manage expenditure against the budget.
  • Manage risks in own work/business environment.
  • Liaise with a range of customers.
  • Handle and attend to a range of customer complaints.
  • Identify cost saving opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Have a clear credit record.
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Have Coupa Purchasing or SAP MM knowledge and experience essential.
  • Have a clear security screening record.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Have a NQF 7 (Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma) in Purchasing Management or relevant Engineering, Legal or Financial discipline.
  • Have at least 8 Years’ Supply Chain or Commercial experience of which 4 years must be in capital procurement or commodity management within the mining industry.
